Bowling For Columbine

1. The USA has to many guns that you can buy at many stores and use them for protection. there are a lot of shootings in the USA and Michael Moore believes it is because there is not enough gun control.
2. he uses a montage of americans killing people or suppling ammo for other countries to kill innocent people. he plays these videos with a background song of what a wonderful world. he's being sarcastic about the song in showing that americans cant handle weapons. He also shows some security cameras capturing a school shooting while audio from 911 calls play in the background. This shows that guys can go buy a gun and easily open fire on people in a school. this shows that having guns so available that any pshyco and get a gun and do what they want. He shows an animation of american history and how there entire history has been built on fear and how americans treated everyone unfair. this shows that americans have never been able to use power appropriatly and therefore will not know how to handle a gun properly.
I would want to argue this because ive been to america. I can tell you it is not a blood bath. the people are nice. ive done the math and the most similar country to the US with gun control is Canada. turns out per capita Canada has more homosides caused by guns annually than the US. I think if a theif wanted to steal something from you he would think twice because the guy he is robbing could be just as ready for battle as he is. in canada if a theif wants a gun he'll get a gun somehow and use it against a defensless person. the criminal can get a gun easily off of the street and kill someone and the civilian cant do a thing because they cant carry a gun.
